Pantone colors are a standardized color scheme that allows graphic designers, printers and others involved in a production to match specific colors, guaranteeing quality throughout the project. Think of it as your hex codes for HTML colors online. This system has been widely adopted by graphic designers and reproduction and printing houses for a number of years now.
